Why we charge for this
Two features cost us real money every time you use them. The AI Trade Coach calls a large language model to analyse your decision history — each report has a genuine per-call cost, which is why it's limited to one a day rather than unlimited. Market data, hosting and the database carry monthly costs whether anyone subscribes or not.
The rest is development time. Trade Lee is built by one person, and the subscription is what makes continuing to build it possible instead of a side project that gets abandoned.
What we deliberately don't do: no countdown timers, no "3 spots left", no price that jumps the moment you hesitate. If the product isn't worth $9.99 to you today it won't be worth it under pressure either, and you'd cancel in a month anyway. The free tier is genuinely usable forever — the Daily Drill is the same drill Pro members get.
One honest note: the biggest single thing that improves your chart reading is volume of reps, and you can get a lot of those for free here. Pro is worth paying for when you want the coach reading your own history and the full readiness breakdown — not because the free tier is crippled.
